BSides Security Conference teaches over 400 attendees

BSides Oklahoma, a free security-focused conference, drew over 400 attendees this week at their third annual conference. This year the conference featured a paid day of information-security training on Thursday, March 23 on topics such as secure coding, social engineering, and penetration testing. Friday, March 24 was the free conference which was composed of 18 presentations and 8 technical demos.  The 2017 BSides took place at the Glenpool Convention Center in Glenpool, OK near Tulsa.

Many thanks to the BSides Organizers, Volunteers, ISSA Oklahoma, and Conference Sponsors. This event wouldn't happen without the time, energy, and passion of Nathan Sweaney, Nathan Keltner, John Robertson, Carrie Randolph, Aaron Moss, James Lawlz, Devon Greene, and Danny LC. We look forward to many more BSides events. If you're interested in getting involved with this great security community, please join the #security channel in Techlahoma slack.
